Biography

Thomas F. McIlwain, MPH, PhD, is Professor of Health Care Management in the College of Health at Clayton State University, and currently serves as Director of the Master of Health Administration Program in the College of Health. Prior to coming to Clayton State, Dr. McIlwain was Associate Professor in the Department of Community Health Sciences, College of Health, at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in health science, a Master of Public Health in community health from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a PhD in Administration--Health Services from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
