Dr. Sharon Jackson White is a registered nurse, a certified family nurse practitioner, and a nurse scientist. She has experience in the medical/surgical, hemodialysis, long-term care, primary care, and palliative care arenas. Her clinical work expands from direct patient care to administrative capacities. She serves on the editorial board of the American Journal of Hospice and Palliative Medicine as well as peer reviewer for several nursing and medical scholarly journals. Furthermore, she has spoken locally, nationally, and internationally as related to her palliative care research. Dr. Sharon Jackson White's research interests are palliative care, end-of-life, and quality of life.
