Mrs. Shereda Taylor-Shaw is an Instructor at Clayton State University School of Nursing. She has taught in the undergraduate BSN program since 2016 as a part-time and full-time clinical instructor. She currently teaches in the first-semester medical-surgical, nursing research, and gerontology course at Clayton School University. <br>Mrs. Taylor-Shaw started her nursing career in 1998 after graduating with a BSN from Long Island University, NY. After 20 years of working in various specialties within the nursing profession, she continued her education and obtained a Master's degree from Walden University, Minneapolis, in 2018. <br>Mrs. Taylor-Shaw's special interest is helping First Semester BSN Students bridge the gap between liberal arts courses and the nursing program. She is the Student Committee Relation Committee chairperson and sits on the Student Advancement and Progression Committee at Clayton State University. She is a member of the American Nurse Association and GANE and was awarded Faculty of the Year (2019) at Clayton State University.
