Biography
Samone is a nurse educator and simulation professional specializing in high-fidelity clinical simulation and pre-licensure nursing education. She serves as Simulation Director for Clayton's Nursing Simulation & Skills Lab, where she leads the design, implementation, and evaluation of simulation-based learning across multiple nursing specialties. Her work emphasizes patient safety, medication-administration competency, and the development of clinical judgment through evidence-based simulation practices and structured debriefing.
Samone is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree, with scholarly interests focused on cognitive-affective debriefing strategies, medication-error prevention, and competency assessment in nursing education. She is committed to advancing innovative, learner-centered teaching approaches that support safe, high-quality clinical practice and professional nursing development.
