Biography

Shirnelle Council is a faculty member in the College of Business with over a decade of experience in the legal and human resources industries. Her teaching philosophy is centered on bridging the gap between abstract legal theory and concrete professional application. With a career built on the intersection of law and organizational management, she is dedicated to preparing future leaders to navigate the complexities of the modern business world. She leverages her extensive experience as a licensed attorney and human resources practitioner to help students understand the legal environment of business and the application of the law to real-world scenarios. Shirnelle is dedicated to ensuring that students depart the classroom with both the competence and confidence to make legally sound and ethical business decisions.
