Shuju Bai is Interim Chair and Professor of Department of Computer Science and Information Technology in College of Information and Mathematical Sciences at Clayton State University. Prior to Interim Chair, she served as Program Coordinator for the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology. She was a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Southern University from 2001-2020 before she joined Clayton State University. Dr. Bai has over 20 years of teaching and research experiences as faculty member and leader. Her expertise includes curriculum design and development, undergraduate and graduate education, computer science and interdisciplinary research. Dr. Bai holds two PhD degrees, Natural Resources and Computer Science. Her research interests include data management, computational biology, data mining, machine learning, AI and interdisciplinary research. Currently she leads two GenCyber projects funded by GenCyber programs under NSA/NSF.
