Biography
Ron Fuqua is Professor of Health Care Management at Clayton State University in Morrow, Georgia.  He earned a doctorate in sociology (aging and long term care), an MBA in management and a BBA in management from Georgia State University in Atlanta.  He earned an AA in Business Administration from Clayton Junior College.  He holds certification as a Project Management Professional, PMP, and as a Senior Professional in Human Resources, SPHR.

He teaches in the areas of Human Resources, Mental Health Care, Information Technology in Health Care, Long Term Care and Marketing in the field of Health Care Management.
 Research Interest
His research interests are patient autonomy and independence in long term care, and staff influence in nursing homes.
