Biography

Dr. Muhammad Asadur Rahman is a Professor of Computer Science and IT at Clayton State University, where he has taught since 2007. His research interests span natural language processing, machine learning, cybersecurity, and computer science education. Dr. Rahman holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology (2000), an M.S. from Roosevelt University (1990), and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) (1983). Prior to his academic career, he gained industry experience developing and maintaining real-time trading software at the Chicago Stock Exchange. He also served as a Visiting Associate Professor at Abu Dhabi University in the summer of 2010.
