Biography
Dr. Morten Brante is Assistant Professor of Management at Clayton State University, teaching Management, Strategy, and Organizational Development. He brings 25+ years of global executive experience in operations, professional services, and consulting, integrating real-world insights into his teaching and research. His career spans leadership roles at Fortune 500 firms including IBM, HP, NCR, and Oracle, plus startups across the Americas and Europe. He has managed up to 1,400 employees, directed annual P&Ls over $273 million, and led global teams in 35+ countries. In addition to his faculty role, he serves part-time as strategic advisor and management consultant for private equity firms and multinational corporations, keeping his academic work aligned with contemporary business challenges. He earned his DBA from Kennesaw State University in 2014. Before joining full-time, he served four years on Clayton State University’s President’s Advisory Board and taught MBA courses part-time. He also holds a master’s from Florida State University’s College of Motion Picture Arts and a bachelor’s in international business from Oregon State University.
