Dr. Holland-Davis has taught sociology and criminal justice classes at Clayton State since 2009. During that time, she has served as the chair of the Department of Social Sciences and director of the short-lived Center for Community and Justice Studies. Her research focuses on the the impact of the social structure on individual behavior and legal responses to crime. Dr. Holland-Davis is originally from Central Florida and earned her PhD in Sociology from the University of Florida. Go Gators! Most weekends, you will find her and her husband on the baseball diamond, cheering on their two sons.
