Biography
Professor Sheynerman came to this country as a refugee from the USSR. Growing up in Brooklyn, NY, he eventually found his way into the theatre scene in NYC and fell in Love.
After getting his BFA and MFA in Acting, Professor Sheynerman knew that teaching was something he could not live without.
Since 2015 Professor Sheynerman has lived in Atlanta, working in film and theatre, all while teaching here at Clayton State.

Teaching Interest
Professor Sheynerman focusses his teaching on preparing students for the professional world ahead. For students looking to work in Film and Theatre this includes performance, audition techniques, and professional preparation.
Whether a student wishes to work professionally in Stage an Screen or not, the foundation is the same: Life Skills through Stage Skills.
Research Interest
Professor Sheynerman is currently working on expanding collaboration with other universities. Expanding opportunities for CSU students to work with and learn from professionals working both in academia and in the professional world.
Professor Sheynerman is interested in doing further research on the connections between physical movement and emotional connection for the actor.
