Biography

Professor Cotter-Reilly is a Lecturer of Accounting at Clayton State University. Her research interests are mainly focused on how to more effectively teach accounting to non-accounting majors as well as accounting majors. Her goal is general student understanding and to increase retention. She has 22 years of experience as a teacher and a vivid passion for accounting--it's the puzzel "game" she loves solving. She hopes her teaching inspires students to enjoy solving the puzzles of accounting as well. Kate is the advisor for Clayton State University’s chapter of the business honors society Beta Gamma Sigma, as well as a BGS member herself.
