Biography

My nursing career started in 1987 when I obtained my Associate Degree in Nursing. I continued my education and received my Bachelor’s in Nursing in 1990. I have been blessed to work as a Family Nurse Practitioner since I graduated with my Master’s degree in Nursing in 1996. In December, 2017, I completed my Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at Georgia College and State University.<br><br>Throughout my nursing career, I have had various learning experiences to continue my path through this ever-changing field of medicine and nursing. I have enjoyed working as a Family Nurse Practitioner primarily in family practice and internal medicine offices both in Kentucky and in Georgia.<br><br>My academic career at Clayton State University began in the fall of 2017 and has been a great experience. At CSU, I have had the chance to really delve into the role of an Associate Professor in a full-time faculty position.
