Biography
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Columbus State University, my master's degree from Capella University, and my Doctor of Nursing Practice/Doctorate in Healthcare Leadership from Chamberlain University.
Throughout my nursing career, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of specialties, including medical-surgical oncology, nephrology, emergency medicine, gastroenterology, gerontology, and internal medicine. I have also served in several leadership and educational roles, including Charge Nurse Manager, Nurse Educator, and Unit Liaison for the Kaiser Permanente Internal Medicine Division at Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital.
For the past eight years, I have had the privilege of teaching and mentoring future nurses as an Assistant Professor. Helping students develop the knowledge, confidence, and critical thinking skills needed to provide safe, compassionate patient care is one of the most rewarding parts of my career.
