Biography

A native of north-central Florida, Dr. Johnson did his studies of French and Spanish at The Citadel (BA, 1987), the University of South Carolina (MA, 1992), and the University of Florida (PhD, 1999), with additional graduate study of Spanish at Georgia Southern University. With teaching experience in France, Southwest Virginia, and Florida, he has been a faculty member in the University System of Georgia for more than 25 years.
