Biography

Dr. Dumphy is an Associate Professor of Nursing at the Clayton State University. She has maintained Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Family Nurse Practitioner clinical practice in pediatrics, hospice, geriatrics, primary care, home health and adult chronic disease management; her most desired population to serve being pediatrics and, the indigent and underserved. In addition, she has authored several publications, completed national and international podium and poster presentations, served as a textbook chapter reviewer and serves as a journal peer-reviewer. Dr. Dumphy also served in the Massachusetts and South Carolina Army National Guard. She enjoys outdoor activities with her husband and daughter including running, attempting golf, watching UNG women's soccer (especially #20!), and hiking. She is active in the Joe Dumphy Memorial Golf Scholarship Fund, Inc. in remembrance of her amazing son, Joe.
