Biography
I have been teaching since 2014 and have taught the First Year Writing sequence every semester since then. In my time teaching at Auburn University, Albany State University, and the Georgia Institute of Technology, I have had the opportunity to teach most core literature classes as well as upper division classes in eighteenth century British literature and nineteenth century British literature.

Teaching Interest
I am interested in increasing the effectiveness and impact of first year writing, ways of increasing student engagement with texts, digital literacy, ethical AI usage, and increasing rhetorical literacy
Research Interest
I am interested in researching pedagogy and first year writing, long nineteenth century British literature, and environmental rhetoric.
