Biography

Mrs. May started her career with a brief stint teaching eighth-grade Mathematics. Since then, she has spent more than 35 years teaching at the collegiate level currently as a Senior Lecturer at Clayton State University. Through the years, she has taught a variety of courses ranging from Elementary Algebra to Calculus as well as Finite Mathematics, Statistics and Mathematics content courses for Elementary Education programs,. For the last several years Mrs. May has been involved in the development of the Mathematics Support courses for College Algebra and Introduction to Mathematical Modeling at Clayton State University. Outside of work, Mrs. May is known to be an avid fan of Indiana University basketball and she serves as an active volunteer with a local animal rescue organization.
