Biography

I am a native Atlantan who attended and acquired a nursing degree from Georgia State University. My first job upon graduating from nursing school was within the Grady Health System. I worked at Grady for a total of 20 years in multiple capacities. During my tenure at Grady, I decided to go back to school for my Masters in Nursing Education which was acquired at Grand Canyon University. While at Grand Canyon, I was invited to join Sigma Theta Tau which is a national honor society for nurses. Upon graduating from Grand Canyon University, I decided to take a position at Gordon State University as part-time adjunct faculty taking students to clinical while working at Piedmont Fayette. In August of 2017, I was hired as a full-time instructor at Clayton State University. <br>I am married and have two children and a dog.
