Biography

Dr. Vinod Vincent, SPHR, SHRM-SCP is an Associate Professor of Management and the Graduate Programs Director at the Clayton State University’s College of Business. Dr. Vincent’s research interests include managerial cognition, intuition, decision-making, artificial intelligence, and HR topics such as employee selection. His research focuses on expanding our understanding of managerial decision-making in organizational environments. His teaching includes management principles, organizational behavior, strategic management, talent development, HR management, and entrepreneurship. Dr. Vincent has over 12 years of experience in the U.S. healthcare staffing industry where his expertise includes new business ventures, strategic management, business operations management, employee selection, performance management, and employee training and development. He also has international experience working in sales and marketing for the media industry in Sri Lanka. Dr. Vincent has a Doctor of Business Administration (Management) from Kennesaw State University and a Master of Business Administration (Marketing) from the University of Tampa.
