Biography

Dr. Hasan has joined the College of Business at Clayton State University in 2022. He has taught both undergraduate and graduate economics courses at different universities in Bangladesh and the United States since 2001. Before joining at Clayton State, he worked as a faculty member at the University of Chittagong (Bangladesh), Asian University for Women (Bangladesh), and Colgate University (U.S.). Dr. Hasan earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 2016, and his M.S. degree in International and Development Economics from Australian National University in 2004. His primary research interests include Economics of Conflict, International Trade, and Economic Development. He has several publications in peer reviewed journals.
