Dr. Joie S. Hain joined Clayton State University in the fall of 2018 after 25 years in entrepreneurship and commission based financial services sales. In May 2020 and August of 2022, she was acknowledged in the College of Business as its Professor of the Year. Dr. Hain specializes in teaching Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing and Professional Selling for both the MBA program and for undergraduates. She is a Direct Sales Education Foundation Fellow and a 2015 graduate of Kennesaw State University with a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Marketing. She holds an MBA in Finance from Mercer University and a BSBA in Accounting from Auburn University. Dr. Hain’s research interest includes the financial services sales force and its management as well as digital marketing and its continuous evolution. Dr. Hain is engaged in her community with a 20+ year membership in Rotary International with 100% attendance. She is a former Trustee for the Georgia Rotary Student Program. In addition, she is a member in the Friends of WAGGGS USA of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.
